But it is me who repairs it all the time. It has to be said, though, I use it and I am a PvPer so it isn't that bad after all. However, if it is pure quality you are seeking then I think you should avoid this HOTAS. If you really need a fancy looking HOTAS but do not intend to use it intensively I think the X52 Peo is for you but as soon as you really start using it you have to prepare for somewhat mjor malfunctions.
That said, you must choose between good looking and partially working or the 16kM and, ofcourse, the prices and variants. While I personally haven't experienced and issues with the spring I definately heard that it is a major one for other users. The wiring is fine for what it is and the buttons usually respond with a good amount of pressure without using violent force.
Usually it consists out of plastic and glue. The default stick is a WWII KG12 grip replica, so its not as ergonomic and doesnt have a lot of buttons even with the mode/shift functions. Edit: logitech now owns the x52, 56 HOTAS and build quality has improved significantly, including warranty. Had to replace it once and I refused to wait months the second time which is why I repaired it myself and removed some parts to let it work properly. Until now the hotas is working fine withou any issue.
It's clearly not made for intense use and breaks fast. As an intense X52 Pro user I can not suggest it.
